Eligibility Criteria for J&K BPEE CET;
The students must be residents of Jammu & Kashmir as defined in Section 6 of the Constitution of the J&K.

Undergraduate Courses;

The candidate must have clear their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a approved board/university. He / she must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST) in aggregate.

The students must have passed their 10+2 level of exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects during their admission to MBBS, BDS, BVSC & AH, Physiotherapy, BUMS, BAMS, B Sc Nursing, B Sc Rehabilitation Therapy, B Sc Fisheries, B Sc Radiation Science, B Sc Operation Theatre Technology, B Sc Medical Lab Technology and B Sc medical Technology courses.

The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Math or Biology as their elective subjects in case of admission to B Sc Agriculture, B Sc Horticulture, B Sc Sericulture, B Tech Agriculture and B Sc Forestry.

The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their elective subjects in case of admission to Bachelor of Engineering courses.

For B Sc in Physiotherapy and BAMS a reserved category candidate must have at least 45% marks in 10+2 level of examination.


Postgraduate Diploma Courses;

Eligible students must be a resident of Jammu & Kashmir as defined in Section 6 of the Constitution of the J&K. He/she must have passed their Metric from a recognized Board or University with Science and Mathematics subjects. Candidate must have scored a minimum of 40% marks (37% marks in case of reserved categories) in aggregate. In case of non-state subjects, candidates must have passed 10th class examination with 40% of marks along with Science and Math subjects.


Syllabus;

The candidates appearing in the BPEE CET have to prepare on the subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Zoology. Candidates aspiring to join the different programs have to appear for a different combination of subjects according to their preferred field.

Mathematics
Algebra, two dimensional geometry, trigonometry, determinants and matrices, vectors, three dimensional geometry, probability, elementary statistics and dynamics are the topics included in the syllabus.

Biology
Physiology of plants, reproduction, development and growth of plants, morphology of plants and genetics, diversity of life and plant classification, ecology environment and biology in human welfare, taxonomy, morphology, anatomy and physiology, cell biology and genetics, origin of life and evolution.

Physics
Units and dimensions and their applications, Elastic properties, Kinetic theory of gases, Center of mass of two particle system, Periodic motion, Coulomb’s law, Electric current, Biot-Savart’s law, Induced EMF, Electromagnetic oscillation, Photoelectric effect, Energy bands in solids, etc.

Chemistry
Chemical Bonding and Molecular structure, Periodic Properties, Surface chemistry, States if Matter, Redox Reactions and Electrochemistry, Energetic and Chemical Thermodynamics, Solutions, Chemical Kinetics, Chemical Equilibrium, Chemical Arthematic, Atomic structure and Nuclear Chemistry.
